Legal compliance to Brazilian Law # 14.457/22 – CIPA
The legislation was enacted into law, providing for the “promotion of a healthy, safe working environment that favors the insertion and maintenance of women in the job market”. To this end, companies that have an Internal Accident and Harassment Prevention Commission (CIPA) must adopt specific measures to prevent and combat sexual harassment and other forms of violence at work. Such measures include establishing rules of conduct and procedures in cases of complaints, internal communication strategies, and ongoing training, for example.
